Well it’s that time of year for the “New Year, New Me” sentiments on social media and the declarations of extreme New Year’s Resolutions. Some of those goals revolve around personal or professional development; however, many revolve around a physical transformation – new hair, a workout routine (make it past January 15th this year!), etc.

I guess this year… Marler Law Partners will also be jumping on the whole “New Year, New Me” bandwagon!

As you all know, we rebranded to Marler Law Partners at the end of October, following Scott Schrum’s judgeship appointment. At the time we released our modified logo and made some small changes.

As anyone who follows us on social media knows, we have now updated our branding to match the new name! And for anyone who has ever had a meeting in my office, we hope you can recognize the gold circle as a Sara staple. You can see the updated branding on our website, letterhead, marketing materials and more moving forward.

But like most New Year’s Resolutions, it’s all about putting a new face or routine on the same person. So even though we’ve had a makeover, we’ll still be the same firm that you’ve learned to trust over the years.

As you may have read in our press release, we are still actively involved and dedicated to helping our community. As you can see on our billboards, it’s the same attorneys serving you in the same locations.

And yes, even after two months of being the only Scott, Scott is still “Pecher.” But, our 2020 goal is to be a little bolder with our marketing. We want to shout our successes and share more about our mission to help good people through hard times.

How will we do that professionally, personally and as a team? We want to hear from you!

How do you think we should give back to the community? What are some legal misconceptions we can break down for you? Is there anything else we can do to help?

We don’t write the blogs because we’re bored – we write them for you! We want to be a resource you can count on when you have questions about the law – no matter how big or small.

Although 2019 was a year full of changes, it has helped move us forward to where we are today – a firm that desperately needs a vacation!

But in all seriousness, the many after-hours and late nights put in by our staff were well worth it this year and have prepared us to take on new challenges in 2020.  And after my holiday vacation, I’ll be recharged and ready to come back to the office in 2020 to fight for our clients and fight for the good people of Southeast Missouri!

Happy Holidays from all of us at Marler Law Partners! We hope you enjoy the New Year and continue to trust and rely on the “new” MLP!
